What's the Opportunity?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Cycle Business Development Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our continued growth. This is a full-time, permanent position. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying leads to securing new contracts and building long-term client relationships. You will work closely with other departments, including operations, estimating, and marketing, to ensure a seamless client experience.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities in the construction and facilities services sectors
- Generate qualified leads through a variety of channels, including networking, attending industry events, cold calling, and digital marketing efforts
- Qualify leads and develop a deep understanding of client needs and challenges
- Continuously expand and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as contract and commercial management to develop innovative methodologies and solutions for unique project challenges
- Prepare and complete prequalification documentation, methodologies, tenders and presentations
- Host post-tender debrief & lessons learned sessions
- Negotiate contracts and ensure they are commercially advantageous for McKeon Group
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, exceeding their expectations throughout the sales cycle and beyond
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in construction and facilities services
Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a business development role within the construction services industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in a similar environment
- Strong understanding of the Irish construction industry and its key players
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized with a strong work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using document design software is a benefit
- A valid Irish driving license is preferred
