What's the Opportunity?

McKeon Group / Hereworks require the skills of an Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our team. The role would suit a highly motivated, quality-focused individual with strong organisational and customer service skills who would like to beat the commute to Dublin.

Level:

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, with a dotted line to other Directors.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To provide reception and administrative support services at our headquarters in Ashbourne
  • Organising and setting up boardroom for meetings 
  • Assistance with event management
  • Maintain oversight of cleanliness and organisation of all office spaces, including public areas, kitchens, and bathrooms. This role will act as the point of contact with the commercial cleaning company
  • Assist with the preparation, set up and tidying up for client visits
  • To interact daily with our customers, clients and site teams via the phone, email, or in person as required
  • To make sure our teams are supported in delivering exceptional service by ensuring that all HQ and business administrative tasks are delivered professionally, on time, and in a compliant and positive manner
  • General HR administrative support to the People and Culture Manager
  • Be an enabler for success and a professional and positive point of contact for our clients/staff/subcontractors and suppliers with a can-do attitude
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal departments such as Finance, HR, Operations, EHS and IT
  • Be an ambassador for McKeon Group through exceptional performance, positive values and behaviours and clear communication
  • Report corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas to help develop and improve McKeon Group's internal processes and management system
  • To ensure that Ashbourne Headquarters is functioning efficiently
  • Answering phones/greeting clients 
  • Maintaining an adequate inventory of stationery/canteen/uniforms/cleaning products, etc
  • Organising services/repairs/cleaning as required for our Headquarters
  • Communication with All Employees about Office Premises/events, etc
  • General filing and office duties, including soft copy file management
  • In-take of deliveries at our Headquarters
  • Act as key holder for the Headquarters building
  • Manage correspondence In and Out
  • Assist Managers with clerical/administrative support as required

Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in carrying out reception duties 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Business Administration  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Experience using SharePoint or similar, and Business Management platforms
  • Candidates should be motivated, enthusiastic, professional and organised
  • Customer-focused and capable of delivering exceptional service to meet and exceed our customers' expectations
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be capable of actively contributing to developing a positive team environment, demonstrating a flexible approach

Salary: Depending on Experience
