The 360Works division provides turnkey building and fast response maintenance services. The team consists of contract managers, project managers, in-house surveyors and skilled tradespeople.

What's the Opportunity?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive and Bid Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our continued growth. This is a full-time, permanent position. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for business development and pre-construction phases, ensuring the company wins new projects through competitive and well-prepared bids.

You will be involved from identifying, qualifying and managing leads to managing, preparing and submitting best in class bid documentation in order to secure new contracts. You will work closely with other departments, including operations, estimating, and marketing, to ensure excellence in pre-construction.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads and develop a deep understanding of client needs and challenges
  • Manage the bid process from end to end with Construction and 360Works
  • Construct, write and publish best in class bid documentation fit for a leader in the construction industry to win new clients
  • Prepare and complete prequalification documentation, methodologies, tenders and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as contract and commercial management to develop innovative methodologies and solutions for unique project challenges
  • Review and Revise documents prepared by others
  • Host post-tender debrief & lessons learned sessions
  • Continuously expand and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals
  • Generate qualified leads through a variety of channels, including networking, attending industry events, cold calling, and digital marketing efforts
  • Manage e-tenders platform for Public Procurement, CIS and other lead generation Platforms for McKeon Group
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, exceeding their expectations throughout the sales cycle and beyond
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as Tender Performance, win/loss rates by sector, lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth
  • Manage and Update Hubspot for Construction Divisions
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in construction and facilities services

Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a bid or business development role within the construction services industry
  • Demonstratable track record of producing and delivering amazing bid documentation in Construction or related industries
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in a similar environment
  • Strong understanding of the Irish construction industry and its key players
  • Excellent written English communication, presentation, and bid writing skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized with a strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using document design software is a benefit
  • Attention to detail
  • A valid Irish driving license is preferred
