A leading Irish construction main contractor (capital projects) and McKeon Group 360Works, providing facilities services and on site project works (recurring revenue).
Hereworks
A provider of commercial Smart Building & Technology solutions globally. We offer end-to-end solutions including Full Stack Smart Building Solutions, Master Systems Integrator (MSI), IoT, Audio Visual Solutions and much more. As part of this, Hereworks has built its own SaaS solution for Smart Buildings called Hereworks Happy™.
In addition, Hereworks have developed an online tool for building users and managers to provide a better service in their buildings called Solve. This is being rolled out for a number of clients with an excellent response. We are currently developing the Growth Strategy for the product and believe that it has excellent potential to scale rapidly.
The organisation is headquartered just outside Dublin in Ashbourne, Co. Meath (10 minutes from the M50) and with a UK office in Cambridge. The Group was established in 1950 and our Hereworks UK business has grown rapidly since its setup in 2023. Our focus is both local in our traditional markets whilst also growing internationally with some of our clients including global leaders in technology and financial services.

What's the Opportunity?
We are searching for a dynamic, Outcome Driven and experienced Senior Sales and Marketing Director to lead a high-performing team across both McKeon Group and Hereworks brands. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion across capital projects, recurring revenue streams, and product sales.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Working with the Senior Executive team develop and implement long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with McKeon Group's overall vision and goals, encompassing both McKeon Group and Hereworks brands
- Identify and prioritise new business opportunities across capital projects, recurring revenue, and product sales
- Analyse Market Trends to focus Business Development Opportunities and future Sales Strategies for the Group
- Produce and Report on Sales Strategies at a Group level
- Own the overall Sales Pipeline for the Group
- Become a key participant in the Exco (Executive leadership team of the company)
Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of business development, marketing, bid and estimating professionals with expertise in both McKeon Group and Hereworks
- Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation within the sales and marketing team
- Encourage a culture of “practice what you preach” aligning sales & bid documentation commitments with Operational Excellence
- Hire, develop and manage a team of top performers
Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners across all McKeon Group and Hereworks sectors
- Develop and execute targeted sales and marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and drive sales pipeline growth
- Lead the sales process for high-value deals and manage senior-level sales engagement
- Drive engagement with external intelligence resources to identify new sales and marketing opportunities
Marketing and Brand:
- Optimise marketing methodology for maximum ROI across each brand
- Manage events & corporate entertainment for the group
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation across McKeon Group and Hereworks
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning for both McKeon Group and Hereworks across all marketing channels
- Oversee the website management for both McKeon Group and Hereworks, ensuring optimal performance and development
- Develop and manage content marketing strategies, including blog creation, social media campaigns, and targeted brochures for both brands, services and products
- Oversee social media management and campaign creation, focusing on sales generation
- Manage all marketing assets to ensure alignment with the organisational goals of both McKeon Group and Hereworks
Performance Analysis:
- Oversee and manage the HubSpot Enterprise CRM system for both McKeon Group and Hereworks, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Develop reporting templates and processes to track key sales and marketing metrics
- Analyse sales and marketing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Regularly report on sales and marketing performance to the COO and Board of Directors
- Make data-driven decisions to optimise resource allocation and drive overall sales and marketing performance
Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required
- Proven experience driving sales growth from strategic planning to successful execution in a €40M+ revenue business
- Excellent communications skills with an eye for detail
- Positive attitude and self-driven
- Proven track record in sales and marketing strategy development
- Proven leadership, mentoring and team building experience
- Experience in Construction or Technology Sectors
- Familiarity with Construction Contracts Irl & UK would be beneficial
- Demonstratable Business Management / Owner Experience
- Has owned and delivered on Financial Targets
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills by example
- International Sales Experience
- 10 Years+ Industry Experience
- 3rd Level Degree
- A Masters or Postgrad in Business, Strategy or Innovation would be a strong advantage
