Classroom Refurbishment and Fit Out

Our 360Works team has delivered another successful classroom refurbishment and fit out project for Dublin City University at their Glasnevin campus. This initiative builds on McKeon Group's longstanding relationship with the university and reflects our continued commitment to enhancing educational environments.

DCU aimed to upgrade the space with the goal of transforming it into a modern, functional learning environment. The project began with a full strip-out and removal of outdated mechanical and electrical systems, including the safe decommissioning of fume cupboards, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units, extraction systems and redundant electrical panels. All legacy infrastructure was cleared to prepare the space for refurbishment.

Following the strip-out, the team transformed the room into a clean, fresh and modern teaching space. A new radiator was installed for efficient heating, and the electrical systems were reorganised and updated to meet current standards. New lighting fixtures were added to improve energy efficiency and environmental comfort.

The final stage of the classroom refurbishment and fit out included fresh paintwork and updated floor finishes, resulting in a clean, modern space that is both practical and welcoming for students and staff.
