Overview

McKeon Group were in charge of the electrical design and installation services for this project.

Due to its age, the building had to be completely rewired in accordance with the conservation requirements. This provided the modern services of a 42-room hotel, including a restaurant, bars, lounge facilities, a salon, and a reception area.

McKeon Group provided the Design & Build services for this project, where McElligot Consulting Engineers were the assigned certifier.

Works included the electrical distribution and lighting systems, general and mechanical services, and the data and TV Distribution Systems. We also completed the central cabling, CCTV and alarms systems, life safety and refuge systems and the commissioning and certification of all new systems, O&M Production, and As-Built drawings.

The Challenge

As part of a re-imagined interior design led by architect Gráinne Webber, the hotel required a mechanical and electrical installation to support its updated image.
