Our award-winning work at the Royal Hibernian Way required substantial alterations to the layout, including the enclosure of the “Mayors Walk” to South Anne Street to create a new anchor retail unit, and rejuvenation works to the streetscape and shopfronts.

Overview
Works specifically included the removal of all shop fronts; alterations to the concrete structure to redefine the retail space; streetscape paving; installation of a new metal frame for the canopies; bespoke cladding; and installation of all new shop fronts, including signage and glazing throughout. Internal alterations were completed to create new retail space on both sides of the street.
Critical to the execution of this project was the intricate programming required to maintain the public thoroughfare between two of Dublin’s busiest high streets throughout the works, as well as the management of the works to ensure continued operations for the RHW retail tenants.
