Overview
TUD wanted to complete several key university renovations during the break between academic terms, as undertaking the work at this time would cause the least disruption to staff and students.
Completing University Renovations with a Quick Turnaround
McKeon Group undertook various tasks to achieve the goals set out by TUD. This included upgrading, painting, and decorating the three main stairwells; renovating the Michael O’Donnell Lecture Theatre on the Bolton Street Campus; and updating flooring and painting in several rooms.
The team also conducted roof surveys of TUD’s Bolton Street, Tallaght and Blanchardstown campuses and the Linenhall Building. These surveys have provided TUD with essential data for future maintenance and planning.
A key aspect of our work involved implementing fire-stopping upgrades to the university’s historic doors, ensuring their preservation.
Our team ensured that the project’s goals were achieved to an exceptional standard within a tight timeframe. The result is improved and more welcoming learning spaces across TUD’s campuses, ready for future college terms.
