Overview
Coillte needed to modernise its Newtownmountkennedy HQ to create new open-plan office space and low-density offices, demolish and replace WCs, fit out a new canteen, add acoustic treatments and refurbish all finishes throughout the building.
Fit out elements include soft strip to office areas, demolition/excavation to WCs, raised access flooring, stud partitions, ceiling alterations, acoustic panelling, glazed partitions, joinery, repair and treatment of exposed timber, electrical design & installation, mechanical installations, decorations, floor finishes and soft furnishings.
The 6-week project programme was a challenge, as the building remained in use throughout the works. The project’s success required extensive and frequent “look-ahead” programme meetings with the client.
