Overview
This included the common area, mechanical and electrical elements, lift installation repairs, and remedial works. We also completed the fireproofing and fire-stopping works, roof works, repairs and completions, drainage completions, façade repair works, and external glazing/curtain walling.
To complete the development, we installed kitchen equipment and miscellaneous items, as well as landscaping. Following this, we fitted out a number of apartments to showhouse standards. We also installed Fire Brigade-compliant hard-standing access. Phased handover took place on a block-by-block basis.
We worked closely with Dublin City Council on this project as they purchased the first block of apartments to be handed over. Overall, the CCTV survey revealed non-compliant falls, leaks, connections, and insufficient manholes, as well as collapsed pipes on the existing system.
We carried out remedial works with Dublin City Council to leave a fully compliant system. We also added a new holding tank on the sewer line, installed pumps and new connections to the public sewer on the main road. Following this, we added new surface water connections.
